Care & Use of Our Products

jar candles

  1. Place the jar candle on a heat resistant surface before lighting.

  2. The first time you light the candle burn it continuously until the wax melts to the edge of the jar to ensure that all the wax will be used every time. Soy wax has a memory and this prevents the candle from tunnelling.

  3. Do not use the lid to snuff the candle. Blow it out or use a wick snuffer then replace the lid once the smoke dissipates. If you use the lid to snuff the candle the fragrance can become tainted by the smell of the smoke.

  4. Before lighting the candle again trim by removing the bent, burnt, brittle part of the wick. The remaining part of the wick will be appropriately trimmed and ready to go.

  5. Do not burn the candle for more than 4 hours at a time.

  6. Do not move a lighted candle.

  7. Keep away from children, pets & drafts.

  8. Read the warning label on the underside of the candle before using.

  9. If you spill the wax, let it set and then lift it off. You can wash with warm water and a little dish washing liquid.

  10. Extreme environmental temperatures may cause melting.

  11. When you finish with the candle wash the jar in warm, soapy water to use as a container in your home.

  12. Do not ingest.
