• UAINE Candles - what does it mean?

Our Gaelic name UAINE ('oonyah') means green and verdant based on the view from our pouring rooms over the Hunter River and up the valley, reflecting our Hunter Valley heritage and our commitment to the environment and our community. UAINE's manufacturing facility overlooks the Hunter River only metres away from Morpeth's original candle factory established in the 1850's. Our logo is the Tree of Life made into a Gaelic knot, reflecting the name of our business.
